As parents of children with challenges, we help families navigate the Children's System of Care, mental health services, the juvenile justice system, DCPP, Medicaid, special education, and social service systems.
Mercer County Family Support Organization offers telephone support to family members, caregivers, schools, and doctors offices. Our Parent Partners will take the time to listen and support, as well as offer community information and referrals. Please call our office and speak to any of our Parent Partners Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm, please leave a message if it is after office hours and we will return your call the following business day.
This support group is offered at our FSO office. Parents can freely share their questions, concerns, problems and solutions about parenting in a safe and supportive atmosphere. “The mission of Parents Anonymous of New Jersey, Inc. is to protect children by strengthening families through mutual support, parent leadership and advocacy.”
Meetings take place: Wednesdays 10 am - 12 noon and Thursdays 6 pm- 8 pm
Many Grand Parents have become parents to their Grand Children, which involve unique adjustments and stressors. Grand Parents Support Group meets at our FSO office the 2nd and 4th Monday's of the month 10 am - 12 noon.
Our Youth Partnership is a group of active, young people between the ages of 13 - 21 who want their voices heard as they face emotional, behavioral and mental health challenges. Youth Partnership meets at our FSO office every Monday 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm. Please call for an application! 609-586-1200.
